  • Fred Couples Golf Swing Video

Posted on April 14th, 2009 admin No comments

In my opinion, Fred Couples has one of the nicest swings I have ever seen. It appears he has all of his weight on his toes, however he maintains perfect balance. There is almost a delay in his swing, with the late “whack” coming through, yet making it look so elegant. Take a look for yourself below:

Ahead of his debut at the Masters, here at Golfd.com we thought it would be great timing to take a look at Rory McIlroy’s Golf Swing. This (nearly 20 year old) young golfer from Northern Ireland, has burst onto the scene with commentators already screaming a “Tiger Contender”.

  • US Masters Augusta Round 1 Groupings/ Tee Times - Australians

Posted on April 7th, 2009 admin No comments

Below I have added (in brackets) the time in AEDT for the east coast of Australia. Round 1 will be played on Friday morning (AEDT time). The Australians are highlighted in Red.
The group the watch (in my opinion) is the grouping of Geoff Ogilvy, Ernie Els and VJ Singh closely followed by the grouping of TrevorImmelman & Adam Scott.

  • Ernie Els vs Michelle Wie Golf Swing Video

Posted on March 1st, 2009 admin No comments

Both very powerful swings, Michelle Wie gets behind the ball more and is more over her right leg than Ernie. At the top of the swing, Michelle is more parallel but Ernie isn’t too short from parallel.

With Adam Scott having the same swing coach as Tiger Woods (Butch Harmon), Adam Scott has a very similar looking swing to the great Tiger Woods (not such a silly move).

Born in Adelaide, Australia - Adam has an average driving distance of 277.3 and 28.7 putts per round (source: PGATour.com)
