Fred Couples Golf Swing Video

In my opinion, Fred Couples has one of the nicest swings I have ever seen. It appears he has all of his weight on his toes, however he maintains perfect balance. There is almost a delay in his swing, with the late “whack” coming through, yet making it look so elegant. Take a look for yourself below:

Its that time of the year again! and falling on the Easter weekend means no tired days at work after watching the US Masters in the early hours of the morning.

Ernie Els vs Michelle Wie Golf Swing Video

I found this cool video on YouTube that sync’s up Ernie Els Golf Swing with Michelle Wie. It is really amazing how similiar these 2 swings are

Both very powerful swings, Michelle Wie gets behind the ball more and is more over her right leg than Ernie. At the top of the swing, Michelle is more parallel but Ernie isn’t too short from parallel.

It would be very interesting to see a swing video of Ernie Els of more recent times, as I know he has been in swing coaching with Butch Harmon. I wonder whether much has changed with the engagement of Butch, or whether is has stayed similiar.

Geoff Ogilvy Wins the Accenture Match Play Tournament

Geoff Ogilvy has held off Paul Casey to win his second Accenture Match Play Tournament at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, winning 4 & 3. Going out in the first round in last years tournament, Ogilvy has come back strong this year beating the following opponents to take the championship:

Round : 1 Kevin Sutherland: 19 holes
Round 2: Shingo Katayama: 19 holes
Round 3: Camilo Villegas: 2 and 1
QF: Rory McIlroy: 2 and 1
SF: Stewart Cink: 4 and 2
